De nominaties werden aangekondigd door Nigel Harman (Shrek, Guys and Dolls) en Leigh Zimmerman (Chicago, The Producers, A Chorus Line).

Matilda, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera en Wicked zijn hiervoor genomineerd.

De Olivier Awards zullen 13 april plaatsvinden in The Royal Opera House in Londen.
